Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Behiç Taykara made the kick off and thus started the match. Selami Üçer was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In the 3rd minute, one of Babaeski:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Babaeski. In the 9th minute Arif Oğuz Yurtseven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Eker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuddusî Eker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdurrahman Yenay in the 11th minute. Kuddusî Eker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Tümenbay in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Behiç Taykara in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tarkan Ekin saved Kalkandere SK from getting behind. After having played for 20 minutes, Behiç Taykara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Babaeski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behiç Taykara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kalkandere SK's zone, Behiç Taykara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarkan Ekin came out of the goal and Behiç Taykara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baran Tümenbay's late challenge caught a Babaeski's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baran Tümenbay helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Kalkandere SK got a freekick which was hit by Baran Tümenbay. In the 30th minute of the match Orbay Otaç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tarkan Ekin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tarkan Ekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nejat Tüzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Babaeski's Kuddusî Eker got control of the ball when Abdurrahman Yenay tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Emre Ongen made a kick off. Behiç Taykara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Babaeski getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Enes Denizer hit a great ball. Resul Atay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Tarkan Ekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Kalkandere SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Oğuz Yurtseven to maneuver through the defense. Tarkan Ekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behiç Taykara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Kuddusî Eker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Emre Ongen in the 74th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Babaeski got a freekick which was hit by Lütfullah Tosunoğlu. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Behiç Taykara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babaeski's supporters rose to their feet, but Behiç Taykara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarkan Ekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarkan Ekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nejat Tüzel in the 85th minute of the match. Behiç Taykara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tarkan Ekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Nejat Tüzel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tarkan Ekin. Nejat Tüzel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Babaeski were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
