Melih Şerhenks short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Tarkan Ekin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Melih Şerhenk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tarkan Ekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tarkan Ekin. The goal made the score 4-1.

The wind increased when Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy made the kick off in the second half. When Melih Şerhenk came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gerze JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melih Şerhenk couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tarkan Ekin. Kalkandere SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melih Şerhenk in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarkan Ekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arın Kahveci kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gerze JK's zone, Abdurrahman Yenay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Attaroğlu came out of the goal and Abdurrahman Yenay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gerze JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Orhan Temizsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarkan Ekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melih Şerhenk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
