Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kayhan Tüzeman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgün Sadri to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Dinç Yazgı put in a rough tackle. Dinç Yazgı kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Ahmet Refik Nevsal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. D.R.S.'s Mert Sait played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abay Uzlet in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Bektaş Ali Tenzil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İdris Andaç came out of the goal and Bektaş Ali Tenzil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Mustafa Yaşar Sefik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mert Sait saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Yaşar Sefik in the 47th minute of play forced D.R.S.'s goalkeeper Mert Sait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bektaş Ali Tenzil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Yaşar Sefiks short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Mert Sait to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Galatasaray's Hüsamettin Yalınayak got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mert Sait. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kayhan Tüzeman in the 61st minute of play forced D.R.S.'s goalkeeper Mert Sait to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Refik Nevsal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baha Erdemli took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mert Sait. Mert Sait dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A long shot from Hüsamettin Yalınayak in the 82nd minute of play was well struck, but Mert Sait made a really good save at the right post. Bektaş Ali Tenzil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. İdris Andaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Refik Nevsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İdris Andaç having to interfere. If Bektaş Ali Tenzil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Refik Nevsal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. İdris Andaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mert Sait took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abay Uzlet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Galatasaray supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galatasaray would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
