Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Birol Orkan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Menderes Yetişbey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gemerek SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Erol Tuğcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ünal Özveri having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birol Orkan in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saltuk Kayıboylu saved Gemerek SK from getting behind. Saltuk Kayıboylu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Bumin Değer in the 17th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gemerek SK defense, Atilla Bumin Değer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saltuk Kayıboylu. The Gemerek SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saltuk Kayıboylu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Cerkes's Hakan Kırca got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Samet Renan managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Ünal Özveri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erol Tuğcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Cerkes's goal looked a bit too open when Erol Tuğcu came free, but Ünal Özveri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Gemerek SK's Menderes Yetişbey made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ünal Özveri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute Birol Orkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saltuk Kayıboylu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menderes Yetişbey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ünal Özveri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Erol Tuğcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menderes Yetişbey struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ünal Özveri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gemerek SK. In the 45th minute of the match Cengizhan Necaettin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ünal Özveri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Bumin Değer in the 46th minute of play forced Gemerek SK's goalkeeper Saltuk Kayıboylu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Cerkes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birol Orkan to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erol Tuğcu made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cerkes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Gemerek SK. Samet Renan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ünal Özveri. 3-1. When Gemerek SK's Menderes Yetişbey in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Gemerek SK's zone, Atilla Bumin Değer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saltuk Kayıboylu came out of the goal and Atilla Bumin Değer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Menderes Yetişbey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerkes's Ünal Özveri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Erol Tuğcu notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cerkes's Ünal Özveri. Ünal Özveri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gemerek SK's Erol Tuğcu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerkes's goalie prevented a goal. The Gemerek SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cerkes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
