Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Suat Tuğaltay made the kick off which started today's match. Suat Tuğaltay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meriç Albayrak having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Seferihisar's zone, Devran Haliloğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meriç Albayrak came out of the goal and Devran Haliloğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baturhan Ersunal's late challenge caught a Sariveliler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baturhan Ersunal helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Seferihisar got a freekick which was hit by Baturhan Ersunal. When Balaban Şölen fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seferihisar's protests and gave Balaban Şölen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Balaban Şölen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meriç Albayrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devran Haliloğlu in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seferihisar's goalkeeper Meriç Albayrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Zikri Yalınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Suat Tuğaltay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Meriç Albayrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baransel Metin got free with Hayri Gündoğan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Baransel Metin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayri Gündoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match İlbey Ziya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Meriç Albayrak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sariveliler's Fadıl Ünal got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Ragıp Saip made a precise shot to the right of Meriç Albayrak. Seferihisar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zikri Yalınay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayri Gündoğan having to interfere. After the first half Sariveliler were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zikri Yalınay made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sariveliler's goal looked a bit too open when Baransel Metin came free, but Hayri Gündoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zikri Yalınay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baransel Metin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Seferihisar's goalkeeper Meriç Albayrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Suat Tuğaltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 67th minute of the match Balaban Şölen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Balaban Şölen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Sariveliler's Uluç Kabadayı shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Meriç Albayrak but with some difficulty. In the 74th match minute, Sariveliler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurbey Bilginer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sariveliler's Mutlu Özerdal got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sariveliler's zone, Baransel Metin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayri Gündoğan came out of the goal and Baransel Metin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Sungurbey Bilginer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Baransel Metin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hayri Gündoğan. Sariveliler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baransel Metin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Baransel Metin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seferihisar's supporters rose to their feet, but Baransel Metin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayri Gündoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Rauf Akpınar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hayri Gündoğan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Baransel Metin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seferihisar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
