If Bülent Pekgöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Harbiye getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Songurhan Günay hit a great ball. Ferhan Pekel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nazil Afak made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resul Taykoç in the 16th minute of play forced Türkeli FK's goalkeeper Erdem Tarhun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erdem Tarhun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resul Taykoç, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Efe Gürçınar during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Mehmet Efe Gürçınar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Nazil Afak managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Türkeli FK's Ferhan Pekel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute, Türkeli FK's Mehmet Çağrı Aşık seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mehmet Çağrı Aşık the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Türkeli FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mehmet Çağrı Aşık had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Türkeli FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! When Bülent Pekgöz came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Harbiye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bülent Pekgöz couldn't finish the play. Ferhan Pekel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nazil Afak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Türkeli FK's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Cüneyt Periz came free, but Erdem Tarhun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Resul Taykoç in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erdem Tarhun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erdem Tarhun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resul Taykoç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ferhan Pekel made the kick off in the second half. Bülent Pekgöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erdem Tarhun having to interfere. Erdem Tarhun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battal Cüneyt Periz in the 63rd minute. Erdem Tarhun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resul Taykoç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Türkeli FK's goalkeeper Erdem Tarhun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Battal Cüneyt Periz. In the 69th minute, Sertaç Murat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Atilla Çetiner fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harbiye's protests and gave Atilla Çetiner a yellow card for diving instead. Bülent Pekgöz struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Erdem Tarhun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harbiye. In the 87th minute, Harbiye's Battal Cüneyt Periz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 94th minute of the match Songurhan Günay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erdem Tarhun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Erdem Tarhun managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Harbiye's Bülent Pekgöz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harbiye's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
