Adnan Atay was slow to take the kick. During this time Yesilhisar's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Mesut Temel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Ziya Egelioğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bilal Sezer was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Bilal Sezer came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Yesilhisar's Ali Nabi Hazlan. But to his dismay, Ali Nabi Hazlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bilal Sezer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ziya Egelioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ali Nabi Hazlan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Yesilhisar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Nabi Hazlan couldn't finish the play. When Ahmet Sedat Çetinel fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yesilhisar's protests and gave Ahmet Sedat Çetinel a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Sedat Çetinel kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 88th match minute, Yesilhisar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurhan Acaralp to maneuver through the defense. Emrah Zekeriya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Oğuz İlkut in the 93rd minute of play. Yesilhisar were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kanlica to leave the ground with a draw.
