The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bektaş Veli Durkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Nejat Alp Balta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evren Tarık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, BATU FC's Erim Sabuncuoğlu got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, BATU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Saygın Kalgay came free, but Müfit Umur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Albayrak SK booed when BATU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtaz Karacabey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Albayrak SK's Atahan Dertsiz got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Edip Yalgın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Umur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ömür Cantez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Andrei Mihalík was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barışcan Çakmur hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of BATU FC booed when Albayrak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edip Yalgın didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Albayrak SK's goalkeeper Andrei Mihalík had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mümtaz Karacabey. 34 minutes into the game, Mümtaz Karacabey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BATU FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Albayrak SK the free kick. The supporters of Albayrak SK booed when BATU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtaz Karacabey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Mihalík made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Ömür Cantez in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edip Yalgın in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Müfit Umur saved BATU FC from getting behind. Evren Tarık blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Mihalík having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Bektaş Veli Durkaya made a precise shot to the right of Müfit Umur. BATU FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Ömür Cantez made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edip Yalgın in the 56th minute of play forced BATU FC's goalkeeper Müfit Umur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BATU FC's Müfit Umur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edip Yalgın in the 57th minute of play. When Musa Tun fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albayrak SK's protests and gave Musa Tun a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Albayrak SK got a freekick which was hit by Musa Tun. Ahmet Ömür Cantez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Mihalík having to make a save. Abdi Saygın Kalgay struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Müfit Umur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albayrak SK. Edip Yalgın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Müfit Umur made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Albayrak SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ömür Cantez came free, but Andrei Mihalík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Müfit Umur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edip Yalgın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edip Yalgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Albayrak SK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Atahan Dertsiz hit a great ball. After 81 minutes of play, BATU FC's Evren Tarık made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrei Mihalík was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrei Mihalík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ömür Cantez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Ömür Cantez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BATU FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Albayrak SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
