Oltu's Emran Tanzer got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Duran Rahmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute of the match Cemal Serdar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İhsan Akel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hamit Dalan in the 37th minute of play forced Oltu's goalkeeper İhsan Akel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Mustafa Hamit Dalan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duran Rahmet was the one to do the kick off. When the referee blew the final whistle, Oltu could leave the field as winners, despite Karabük FK having more of the ball for most of the match.
