Kerimhan Gürçınar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mücahit Bekdemir in the 4th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Kayapınar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzkan Demiroğlu came free, but Seyit Adak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yüksel Dalmaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Seyit Adak made a huge save. Süruri Ayaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kayapınar FK's Süruri Ayaydın got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Ferman Öner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kayapınar FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARDAHANSPOR the free kick. In the 20th minute of the match Gökmen Şıran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seyit Adak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Mücahit Bekdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basri Erakalın charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basri Erakalın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seyit Adak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzkan Demiroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kayapınar FK's Süruri Ayaydın got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kerimhan Gürçınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mücahit Bekdemir in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Oğuzkan Demiroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kayapınar FK's Seyit Adak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Gökmen Şıran fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARDAHANSPOR's protests and gave Gökmen Şıran a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Kayapınar FK. Davut Nadi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kerimhan Gürçınar. 0-1. Gökmen Şıran was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th minute, Gökmen Şıran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ARDAHANSPOR getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bahtiyar Aktaç hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Kayapınar FK's Mücahit Bekdemir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kerimhan Gürçınar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kerimhan Gürçınar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Süruri Ayaydın in the 71st minute. Süruri Ayaydın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kerimhan Gürçınar having to make a save. After having played for 91 minutes, Yüksel Dalmaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARDAHANSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yüksel Dalmaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes Kayapınar FK got a freekick which was hit by Nuratay Öveç. The Kayapınar FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
