Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Battalgazi's Batıray Akıncıbey got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Karayazi SK booed when Battalgazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barlas Serhad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erhun Sabeddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Arif Tükelalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murathan Giyas lost his temper 16 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Turgay Uğurcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Battalgazi's Erhun Sabeddin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Battalgazi from getting a goal against them. Ali Numan Hazar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mehmet Arif Tükelalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Sabeddin having to interfere. Necdet Çinuçin might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gökhun Mengü. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Necdet Çinuçin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Karayazi SK's zone, Turgay Uğurcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökhun Mengü came out of the goal and Turgay Uğurcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Necdet Çinuçin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Necdet Çinuçin to make the kick off. Erhun Sabeddin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayhan Çelenk in the 56th minute of play. Karayazi SK's Mehmet Arif Tükelalp got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Battalgazi defense, Ayhan Çelenk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erhun Sabeddin. The Battalgazi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erhun Sabeddin should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Battalgazi's goal looked a bit too open when Ogün Niyazi came free, but Erhun Sabeddin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Battalgazi's Erhun Sabeddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Arif Tükelalp in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Necdet Çinuçin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Battalgazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necdet Çinuçin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Turgay Uğurcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Necdet Çinuçin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehmet Arif Tükelalp kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Erhun Sabeddin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ayhan Çelenk went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Hami Özbey fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Battalgazi's protests and gave Hami Özbey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Battalgazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hami Özbey to maneuver through the defense. Karayazi SK's Gökhun Mengü played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Çinuçin in the 90th minute of play. If Necdet Çinuçin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
