Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sancarbey Koral got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Bornova SK's Sancarbey Koral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İskender Baki Özerk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to AKINCILAR FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Paşa Durhal hit a great ball. In the 7th match minute, Bornova SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sercan Şahabeddin to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Sercan Şahabeddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bornova SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sancarbey Koral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Devlet İpçi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKINCILAR FC the free kick. AKINCILAR FC's İlbey Ersed got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sercan Şahabeddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. İskender Baki Özerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sercan Şahabeddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İskender Baki Özerk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cevahir Taştan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. A collision led to AKINCILAR FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cahit Sadak hit a great ball. İskender Baki Özerk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sercan Şahabeddin went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İlbey Ersed made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Paşa Durhal managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKINCILAR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paşa Durhal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüknettin Masum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Hıdır Tumbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Bornova SK's goal looked a bit too open when İlbey Ersed came free, but Rüknettin Masum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AKINCILAR FC's İskender Baki Özerk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save AKINCILAR FC from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Cahit Sadak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKINCILAR FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bornova SK the free kick. The supporters of Bornova SK booed when AKINCILAR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cahit Sadak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, İskender Baki Özerk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. İlbey Ersed struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Rüknettin Masum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKINCILAR FC. İlbey Ersed might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rüknettin Masum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İlbey Ersed ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AKINCILAR FC's Süleyman Şehzat got a free kick in the 80th minute. Rüknettin Masum came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by AKINCILAR FC's İlbey Ersed. But to his dismay, İlbey Ersed quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When İlbey Ersed came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the AKINCILAR FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlbey Ersed couldn't finish the play. Rüknettin Masum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlbey Ersed in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Bornova SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AKINCILAR FC:s goal. Rüknettin Masum had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Hüseyin Can Polatkılıç's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rüknettin Masum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlbey Ersed in the 100th minute of the match. The Bornova SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
