After 14 played minutes, Kangal SK's Ahmet Efe İkbal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ali Macit Türköz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kangal SK reached it. After 16 minutes of play, Kangal SK's Özkan Akburak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Macit Türköz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Kangal SK's goalkeeper Mustafa Necati Yaren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batu Dengiz. 24 minutes into the match, Tire FK's goal looked a bit too open when Özkan Akburak came free, but Ali Macit Türköz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kangal SK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Taha Onay hit a great ball. With a little luck, Kangal SK's Mustafa Necati Yaren got control of the ball when Batu Dengiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hadi Altunhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Macit Türköz having to interfere. Hadi Altunhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruhi Yüce's late challenge caught a Kangal SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruhi Yüce helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Tire FK's zone, Özkan Akburak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Macit Türköz came out of the goal and Özkan Akburak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Kangal SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aytaç Hürkan made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Özkan Akburak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tire FK's Batu Dengiz got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batu Dengiz in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Necati Yaren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Özkan Akburak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Macit Türköz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hadi Altunhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Macit Türköz having to interfere. Kangal SK's Mustafa Necati Yaren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytaç Hürkan in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kangal SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vahap Usberk was slow to take the kick. During this time Tire FK's players had a chance to rest. In the 81st minute, Özer Ergüder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Kangal SK's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Dengiz came free, but Mustafa Necati Yaren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batu Dengiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Necati Yaren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aytaç Hürkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kangal SK's goalkeeper Mustafa Necati Yaren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mustafa Necati Yaren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytaç Hürkan in the 95th minute of the match. The Tire FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kangal SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kangal SK.
