Çağlar İlsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdi Hürmüz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamdi Hürmüz in the 19th minute of play forced Galatasaray A.Ş's goalkeeper Çağlar İlsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Galatasaray A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Asım Başhekim to maneuver through the defense. If Hamdi Hürmüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Galatasaray A.Ş getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Feyyaz Taşkıner hit a great ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Nurettin İlyas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wojciech Poteralski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hamdi Hürmüz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayberk Remzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 61st minute when Hamdi Hürmüz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bora Nebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Çağlar İlsu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞ's Hamdi Hürmüz. But to his dismay, Hamdi Hürmüz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Hamdi Hürmüz scored 1-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Çağlar İlsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray A.Ş's goalkeeper Çağlar İlsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Hamdi Hürmüz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Çağlar İlsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th match minute, Galatasaray A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Ziya Ulun to maneuver through the defense. Galatasaray A.Ş's Çağlar İlsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray A.Ş from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded BEŞİKTAŞ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galatasaray A.Ş.
