Berkant Hizanlı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Berkant Hizanlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Berkant Hizanlıs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Bilgehan Oktay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 26 minutes of play, Köprüköy's Vedat Tercan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Hamdi Oktar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as ERZURUMSPOR1968's Berkant Hizanlı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bilgehan Oktay. That made the score 2-1 after 32 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Köprüköy's zone, Berkant Hizanlı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilgehan Oktay came out of the goal and Berkant Hizanlı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berkant Hizanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bilgehan Oktay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkant Hizanlı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet İlhan Öztaş to make the kick off. If Berkant Hizanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Baturay Süphan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ERZURUMSPOR1968's supporters rose to their feet, but Baturay Süphan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilgehan Oktay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Köprüköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bilgehan Oktay should have stopped the shot. Berkant Hizanlı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bilgehan Oktay having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkant Hizanlı in the 91st minute of play forced Köprüköy's goalkeeper Bilgehan Oktay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Köprüköy booed when ERZURUMSPOR1968 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Kondysar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Tansel Uçman made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Hamdi Oktar. ERZURUMSPOR1968's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. ERZURUMSPOR1968 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
