Fedai Toktaş made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Çağatay Ungan sent off a good shot on target. Çağatay Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fedai Toktaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yildizeli JK's Fedai Toktaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bünyamin Cezar in the 14th minute of play. When Çağatay Ungan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağatay Ungan couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Fedai Toktaş successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 20th minute, Faruk Bir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FENERBAHÇE's Demirhan Ulubaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şentürk Pekşen in the 22nd minute of play. Faruk Bir kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Demirhan Ulubaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şentürk Pekşen in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Çağatay Ungan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Abdurrahman Bayır made the kick off in the second half. Şentürk Pekşen charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Şentürk Pekşen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yildizeli JK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Şentürk Pekşen hit a great ball. If Abayhan Şinasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Bünyamin Cezar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FENERBAHÇE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bünyamin Cezar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Demirhan Ulubaş was a little too slow when Faruk Bir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 2-1. Sezer Toker's late challenge caught a Yildizeli JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sezer Toker helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Yildizeli JK booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezer Toker didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was joyful for the audience to see Halim Ünzil dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 64th played minute and put the ball into the net. 2-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fedai Toktaş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Çağatay Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fedai Toktaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedai Toktaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bünyamin Cezar's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Fedai Toktaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağatay Ungan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abayhan Şinasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fedai Toktaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çağatay Ungan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedai Toktaş having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrahman Bayır in the 96th minute of play forced FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper Demirhan Ulubaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yildizeli JK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FENERBAHÇE had controlled the match.
