Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doğuş Tükelalp started the match with the kick off. Selami Polatalp came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gercüs FK's Henk Clarijs. But to his dismay, Henk Clarijs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gercüs FK's Ahmet Kağan Eslem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Gercüs FK from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Henk Clarijs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Clarijs in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selami Polatalp saved Marmaris FK from getting behind. With a little luck, Gercüs FK's Ahmet Kağan Eslem got control of the ball when Bedih Ulumeriç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selami Polatalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Ekrem Selmi in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marmaris FK's Sufi Tanbek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ahmet Kağan Eslem. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. Gercüs FK's Ahmet Kağan Eslem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gercüs FK from getting a goal against them. Henk Clarijs struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Selami Polatalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gercüs FK. With a little luck, Gercüs FK's Ahmet Kağan Eslem got control of the ball when Derviş Canbolat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marmaris FK's Derviş Canbolat managed to work through Gercüs FK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Derviş Canbolat dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Clarijs in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Selami Polatalp saved Marmaris FK from getting behind. Sami Zoral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doğuş Tükelalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ahmet Kağan Eslem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bedih Ulumeriç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Kağan Eslem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuş Tükelalp in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henk Clarijs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Henk Clarijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sufi Tanbek's late challenge caught a Gercüs FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sufi Tanbek helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Marmaris FK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Sufi Tanbek hit a great ball. Henk Clarijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Selami Polatalp managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Gercüs FK's Henk Clarijs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 72nd minute, Gercüs FK's Mustafa Ekrem Selmi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Selami Polatalp. Selami Polatalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Henk Clarijs got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sami Zoral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gercüs FK's Henk Clarijs in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marmaris FK's goalie prevented a goal. Selami Polatalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Ekrem Selmi in the 86th minute of the match. Mustafa Ekrem Selmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Selami Polatalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
