After 7 minutes, Ensar Çetin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ÇORUMSPOR's Turgut İçöz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Akcakale's Mustafa Ekrem Köksal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdoğan Harzemşah in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Yavuz Bülent Akkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Akcakale's zone, Erdoğan Harzemşah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Ekrem Köksal came out of the goal and Erdoğan Harzemşah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özal Isfahanlı in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Turgut İçöz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Özal Isfahanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Güngör Sani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute of the match Durmuş Kılıçdaroğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Turgut İçöz skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Yavuz Bülent Akkurt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Akcakale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ÇORUMSPOR the free kick. Mustafa Ekrem Köksal came out of the goal and Batuhan Irgat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Ensar Çetin made a precise shot to the right of Turgut İçöz. ÇORUMSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Ensar Çetin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özal Isfahanlı in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turgut İçöz saved ÇORUMSPOR from getting behind. After some careless play in the ÇORUMSPOR defense, Ensar Çetin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Turgut İçöz. The ÇORUMSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Turgut İçöz should have stopped the shot. The ÇORUMSPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Akcakale were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özal Isfahanlı to strike the kick off in the second half.
