Balçova Belediye Termal S's Mirkelam Çalapover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çetin Niyaz in the 3rd minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Derya Umar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balçova Belediye Termal S's supporters crossed their fingers, but Derya Umar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Muzaffer Benlioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derya Umar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muzaffer Benlioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günalp Temcit in the 13th minute of play. Mirkelam Çalapover was a little too slow when Saadettin Kerim got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 24th minute, Necati Erkılınç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kanlica FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Çetin Niyaz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Derya Umar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muzaffer Benlioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Bilgin Başeskioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Balçova Belediye Termal S's Tuncay Gürtuna got a free kick in the 40th minute. Necati Erkılınç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mirkelam Çalapover made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Günalp Temcit to make the kick off. Muzaffer Benlioğlu stood somewhat misplaced when Günalp Temcit came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 52 minute. After some careless play in the Balçova Belediye Termal S defense, Necati Erkılınç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mirkelam Çalapover. The Balçova Belediye Termal S fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirkelam Çalapover should have stopped the shot. After 61 played minutes Balçova Belediye Termal S got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Gürtuna. After a defensive mix-up in Kanlica FK's zone, Derya Umar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muzaffer Benlioğlu came out of the goal and Derya Umar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Kanlica FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Günalp Temcit fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Derya Umar came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Balçova Belediye Termal S fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derya Umar couldn't finish the play. Muzaffer Benlioğlu made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Günalp Temcit sent off a good shot on target. Derya Umar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muzaffer Benlioğlu having to interfere. Balçova Belediye Termal S's Derya Umar got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derya Umar in the 82nd minute of play forced Kanlica FK's goalkeeper Muzaffer Benlioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Saadettin Kerim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirkelam Çalapover saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Kanlica FK's goalkeeper Muzaffer Benlioğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Günalp Temcit. When the final whistle sounded Balçova Belediye Termal S left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kanlica FK.
