After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 81 minutes of play, Gümüshane's Berke Ziyaettin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reşit Okanay was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Yenal Bardakçı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşit Okanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, İlmi Erem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Gümüshane's goal looked a bit too open when Boran Işılay came free, but Vecdi Sait reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. trabzon's Boran Işılay got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
