In the 20th minute Çakır Topçam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir Demirezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamit Özgunay in the 23rd minute of play forced Eşrefpasa FK's goalkeeper Emir Demirezen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eşrefpasa FK's goalkeeper Emir Demirezen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zafer Vecdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Hamit Özgunay made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Eşrefpasa FK's Emir Demirezen got control of the ball when Çakır Topçam tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Eşrefpasa FK's Zafer Vecdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Köksal Mehdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Hamit Özgunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute.
