Abdurrahman Akkaynak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Abdurrahman Akkaynak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuncer Haseki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Turan Hıfzullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Güngören's Gökçen Resul got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selami Orgun in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tuncer Haseki saved Güngören from getting behind. Arın Türk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Haydar Sebukalp having to interfere. When Güngören's Rıza Bedih in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yigilca's goalie prevented a goal. Arın Türk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ali Haydar Sebukalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Arın Türk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Selami Orgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Güngören getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gökçen Resul hit a great ball. Özmen Eren, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ahmet Turan Hıfzullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Güngören's Tuncer Haseki got control of the ball when Selami Orgun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rıza Bedih was the one to do the kick off. If Arın Türk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arın Türks short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Ali Haydar Sebukalp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 61 minutes into the game, Güngören's Arın Türk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Haydar Sebukalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Selami Orgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Haseki having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Güngören got a freekick which was hit by Abdurrahman Akkaynak. Özmen Eren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ahmet Turan Hıfzullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Haydar Sebukalp didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 80th minute, Arın Türk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıza Bedih in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Haydar Sebukalp saved Yigilca from getting behind. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tuncer Haseki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Güngören had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
