The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tuncer Haseki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paşa Zeyni, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Nusret Torum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rıza Bedih went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ahmet Reha Uluöz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Reha Uluöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes HAY57 got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Reha Uluöz. With a little luck, HAY57's Nusret Torum got control of the ball when Arın Türk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arif Ozan Cankan might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tuncer Haseki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arif Ozan Cankan ran back to his position shaking his head. Rüknettin Energin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Reha Uluöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Haseki having to interfere. Arif Ozan Cankan struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tuncer Haseki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HAY57. 40 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selim Türkeş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tuncer Haseki. Güngören's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuz Selim Türkeş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Yavuz Selim Türkeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tuncer Haseki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rıza Bedih made a kick off. Paşa Zeyni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güngören's Tuncer Haseki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Güngören from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Yavuz Selim Türkeş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baykam Özgurel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tuncer Haseki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes HAY57 got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Şabi. Yavuz Selim Türkeş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Haseki having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Ahmet Reha Uluöz made a precise shot to the right of Tuncer Haseki. Güngören's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Yavuz Selim Türkeş came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the HAY57 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yavuz Selim Türkeş couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Reha Uluöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tuncer Haseki having to interfere. Rıza Bedih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paşa Zeyni kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Tuncer Haseki made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ahmet Reha Uluöz sent off a good shot on target. Tuncer Haseki was a little too slow when Rüknettin Energin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. HAY57's Arif Ozan Cankan got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Ozan Cankan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abbas Şanver charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abbas Şanver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Güngören's Tuncer Haseki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Selim Türkeş in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Güngören's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Selim Türkeş came free, but Tuncer Haseki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paşa Zeyni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tuncer Haseki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HAY57's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
