Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Tatvan's Günalp Tekiner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aykutalp Beşir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Johansson in the 3rd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Tatvan got a freekick which was hit by Reşat Tunçbay. Gunnar Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykutalp Beşir having to interfere. Gökay Aktar made a great header on Gümüshaciköy SK's corner, it was just that Tatvan's Aykutalp Beşir managed to reach the ball for a save. Aykutalp Beşir came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Gümüshaciköy SK's Gunnar Johansson. But to his dismay, Gunnar Johansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Günalp Tekiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bedirhan Ağcabey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Rıfat Kadir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arcan Özdek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Gergori Colsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tatvan's Aykutalp Beşir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aykutalp Beşir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aykutalp Beşir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gergori Colsa's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Hüseyin Can Elçi could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Bedirhan Ağcabey however easily saved by the left post. Gergori Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Gümüshaciköy SK got a freekick which was hit by Enis Behiç Akın. Gümüshaciköy SK's Bedirhan Ağcabey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Tekiner in the 36th minute of play. Gergori Colsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aykutalp Beşir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Gümüshaciköy SK booed when Tatvan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tacettin Orkutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Oğuzhan Ilıcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gümüshaciköy SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzhan Ilıcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykutalp Beşir having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gergori Colsa to make the kick off. If Jim Blomquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gümüshaciköy SK's Mustafa Necati Bozbora got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jim Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aykutalp Beşir was a little too slow when Mustafa Necati Bozbora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. 63 minutes into the game, Arcan Özdek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bedirhan Ağcabey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Günalp Tekiner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bedirhan Ağcabey. Gümüshaciköy SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Günalp Tekiner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jim Blomquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Aykutalp Beşir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Gümüshaciköy SK's Enis Behiç Akın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aykutalp Beşir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Özalp Ergüven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tatvan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gümüshaciköy SK the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jim Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gümüshaciköy SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Blomquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykutalp Beşir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gergori Colsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gergori Colsa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aykutalp Beşir was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Reşat Tunçbay hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Enis Behiç Akın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gümüshaciköy SK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
