The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Emir Yezid in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saruhan Şahit saved Alsas Loren from getting behind. In the 6th minute of the match Nazım Ulumeriç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saruhan Şahit showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 7th play minutes Ahmet Emir Yezid shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Saruhan Şahit and just under the crossbar into goal. Ceyhun Kumukbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jose Brun made a huge save. After 13 minutes of play, Alsas Loren's Ceyhun Kumukbay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Brun was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the game, Ataman Kaptan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1453 İstanbulspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsas Loren the free kick. In the 15th minute, Ataman Kaptan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alsas Loren's Saruhan Şahit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güner Bardakçıoğlu in the 26th minute of play. If Ahmet Emir Yezid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ataman Kaptan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saruhan Şahit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güner Bardakçıoğlu in the 44th minute of play. Ercüment Rehber hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Besim Münib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Mustafa Anıl Tamerk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaşar Nuri Hürsel charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yaşar Nuri Hürsel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alsas Loren getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yaşar Nuri Hürsel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enginalp Bozdoğan got free with Saruhan Şahit in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Emir Yezid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Saruhan Şahit managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when 1453 İstanbulspor's Ahmet Emir Yezid fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ahmet Emir Yezid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ataman Kaptan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saruhan Şahit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ataman Kaptan ran back to his position shaking his head. Saruhan Şahit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Emir Yezid, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Alsas Loren fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1453 İstanbulspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
