Gündüz Mutlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Umut Bahçeli charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umut Bahçeli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Dokuma FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umut Bahçeli to maneuver through the defense. When Hüseyin Turan Özdoru fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dokuma FK's protests and gave Hüseyin Turan Özdoru a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dokuma FK's zone, Battal Cüneyt Seza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gündüz Mutlu came out of the goal and Battal Cüneyt Seza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dokuma FK's Özden Kamver got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Battal Cüneyt Seza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Mutlu having to interfere. If Harun Geylanoğullarından had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Alpu FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Hakkı Belge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Özden Kamver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Özden Kamver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aytaç Akkan was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Alpu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Özden Kamver came free, but Aytaç Akkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Mehmet Hakkı Belge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Akkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özden Kamver during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dokuma FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Özden Kamver hit a great ball. When Ali Galip Onay came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Alpu FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Galip Onay couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Mehmet Hakkı Belge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytaç Akkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alpu FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
