An unexpectedly hard shot by Zülfikar Mirza in the 24th minute of play forced Topkapi JK's goalkeeper Mehmet Emrah Vefi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dursun Canıtez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şamil Ergazi having to interfere. Şamil Ergazi made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Mansur Hizanlı sent off a good shot on target. Konak JK's Şamil Ergazi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Canıtez in the 31st minute of play. Ali Erdem Garipbaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Şamil Ergazi made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Mansur Hizanlı sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Dursun Canıtez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dursun Canıtez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Topkapi JK got a freekick which was hit by Gürsel Çetiner. The Topkapi JK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Konak JK to win.
