After a defensive mix-up in beşiktas's zone, Yetkiner Çeliktaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aykan Vecid came out of the goal and Yetkiner Çeliktaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yetkiner Çeliktaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yetkiner Çeliktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artvin SK's Mustafa Orhan Gurbet got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Yetkiner Çeliktaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but beşiktas's Aykan Vecid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mustafa Orhan Gurbet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aykan Vecid made a huge save. Artvin SK's Yetkiner Çeliktaş was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dursun Ali Okbudun in the 36th minute of play forced Artvin SK's goalkeeper Kağan Tokyüz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artvin SK had played much better football throughout.
