In the 3rd minute Baran Vatansever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Ege Baykal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KARSSPOR's Timur Suhan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orçun Tankut, made in the 5th minute of the game. If Ahmet Hakan İlksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şaban Bayraktar struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KARSSPOR. When Hasret Uğurcan fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray Ruhu's protests and gave Hasret Uğurcan a yellow card for diving instead. Hasret Uğurcan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. KARSSPOR's Anıl Ege Baykal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metehan Ecemiş in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Metehan Ecemiş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray Ruhu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KARSSPOR the free kick. The supporters of KARSSPOR booed when Galatasaray Ruhu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metehan Ecemiş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şaban Bayraktar in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Faruk Nafiz Yumlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anıl Ege Baykal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baran Vatansever in the 18th minute of the match. Galatasaray Ruhu's Faruk Nafiz Yumlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray Ruhu from getting a goal against them. KARSSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fahrettin Erandaç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Galatasaray Ruhu's goal looked a bit too open when Timur Suhan came free, but Faruk Nafiz Yumlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fahrettin Erandaç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faruk Nafiz Yumlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fahrettin Erandaç in the 44th minute of the match. Baha Ercan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faruk Nafiz Yumlu having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baran Vatansever to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray Ruhu's zone, Timur Suhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu came out of the goal and Timur Suhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Galatasaray Ruhu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Doğa Yağızhan hit a great ball. Şaban Bayraktar scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faruk Nafiz Yumlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Fahrettin Erandaç managed to get in a good position for a shot. KARSSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Fahrettin Erandaç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 minutes, Doğa Yağızhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galatasaray Ruhu and the KARSSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doğa Yağızhan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Hakan İlksel in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faruk Nafiz Yumlu saved Galatasaray Ruhu from getting behind. Şaban Bayraktar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şaban Bayraktar in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, İlkan Tatu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Galatasaray Ruhu's Faruk Nafiz Yumlu. Faruk Nafiz Yumlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Şaban Bayraktar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Nafiz Yumlu having to interfere. Aykut Canpolat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faruk Nafiz Yumlu having to make a save. After 96 played minutes Galatasaray Ruhu got a freekick which was hit by Hasret Uğurcan. KARSSPOR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
