Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Derman Onkal started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Gediz FK's goal looked a bit too open when Erhan Gombuš came free, but Kayhan Hedef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kayhan Hedef came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by sǐɱɞƍ ɍȼ's Ali Kaan Babayiğit. But to his dismay, Ali Kaan Babayiğit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th minute, Ahmet Turan Ünek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gediz FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 24 minutes of play, Gediz FK's Derman Onkal made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aral Akçan was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Gediz FK's Kayhan Hedef got control of the ball when Radowit Tepper tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, sǐɱɞƍ ɍȼ's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Turan Ünek came free, but Aral Akçan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Kaan Babayiğit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Kayhan Hedef made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Gediz FK's goalkeeper Kayhan Hedef had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radowit Tepper. If Erhan Gombuš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kayhan Hedef prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gediz FK were furious when Muammer Nurtekin was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Gediz FK's Muammer Nurtekin got a free kick in the 44th minute. Erhan Gombuš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The sǐɱɞƍ ɍȼ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gediz FK were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldinho Fenomeno was the one to do the kick off. Serhan Tüzeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Burç Kayaalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayhan Hedef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kayhan Hedef took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the game, Ali Kaan Babayiğit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. sǐɱɞƍ ɍȼ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gediz FK the free kick. Gediz FK's Nuralp Açıkgöz was substituted for Arman Kaim. The supporters of Gediz FK booed when sǐɱɞƍ ɍȼ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Kaan Babayiğit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, sǐɱɞƍ ɍȼ's Burç Kayaalp got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes, Gediz FK's Serhan Tüzeman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aral Akçan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gediz FK reached it. Kayhan Hedef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kaan Babayiğit, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Aral Akçan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serhan Tüzeman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 85th minute Radowit Tepper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kayhan Hedef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serhan Tüzeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aral Akçan having to interfere. A collision led to Gediz FK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nuralp Açıkgöz hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gediz FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
