Ahmet Koralp Saylan came out of the goal and Zekeriya Uğurata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zühtü Geçimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ahmet Koralp Saylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acar Erekens short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Yılmaz Şavat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Aydin getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pekin Saltık hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Acar Ereken managed to get in a good position for a shot.
