Köprübasi's Alkan Piruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuğ Özgurel in the 19th minute of play. İbrahim Ethem Durhal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gencal Civanbaht. Marmara FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Marmara FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Köprübasi:s goal. Gencal Civanbaht went to the wrong direction when Ahmet Hasan Koçarslanoğlu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 25th minute of the match İbrahim Ethem Durhal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gencal Civanbaht skillfully saved the ball. Carlo Schrage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gencal Civanbaht made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, Marmara FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hasan Yılhan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Köprübasi's Fadıl Safi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Alkan Piruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurettin Tükel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gencal Civanbaht was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andaç Torum. Bora Han Koyas in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gencal Civanbaht, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bora Han Koyas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencal Civanbaht read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bora Han Koyas was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Marmara FK's Batuğ Özgurel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alkan Piruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bora Han Koyas in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 62nd match minute, Köprübasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fadıl Safi to maneuver through the defense. After 65 played minutes Marmara FK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hasan Yılhan. In the 73rd match minute, Köprübasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Besim Orun to maneuver through the defense. When Ahmet Hasan Koçarslanoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Köprübasi fans jumped to their feet.
