The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batur Tosunoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SAMSUN SK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hürkan Canol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Eralp Şakir made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in SAMSUN SK's zone, Çağan Yücelen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eralp Şakir came out of the goal and Çağan Yücelen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Gökçe Tuğkun sped through Özkanoğulları SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umut Tuğkun. 72 minutes into the match, Gökçe Tuğkun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Umut Tuğkun. Özkanoğulları SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökçe Tuğkun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Eralp Şakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktan Yücel, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78 played minutes SAMSUN SK got a freekick which was hit by Batur Tosunoğlu. In the 79th minute, Özkanoğulları SK's Özden İlksel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eralp Şakir. Eralp Şakir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-5. Hürkan Canol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eralp Şakir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Gökçe Tuğkun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umut Tuğkun was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-5. Eralp Şakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktan Yücel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, SAMSUN SK's Batur Tosunoğlu made it 6-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Umut Tuğkun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Umut Tuğkun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökçe Tuğkun in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAMSUN SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Özkanoğulları SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
