After a rather tough play, Dalaman's Saruhan Onal got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Ali Vedat Öksak came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Dalaman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Vedat Öksak couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güralp Tunçtürk to make the kick off. After 65 played minutes Dalaman got a freekick which was hit by Gürkan Ural. Cihan Berin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güralp Tunçtürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Kutlan having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Dalaman's goalkeeper Güney Kutlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cihan Berin. Güney Kutlan made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Cihan Berin sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Eruh getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hasan Ali Sadan hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Dalaman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Vedat Öksak to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd play minute Cihan Berin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Güney Kutlan. 3-1. Ali Vedat Öksak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talip Yazgı having to interfere. Cihan Berin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talip Yazgı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Vedat Öksak in the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Dalaman's Güney Kutlan got control of the ball when Cihan Berin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ali Vedat Öksak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Talip Yazgı was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Dalaman's Güney Kutlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Tunçtürk in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dalaman had won after a very even match.
