Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cihan Balaman came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sefa Toygar could save by the left post. In the 45th minute, Demiralp Küdüs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taci Devlettin to strike the kick off in the second half. Sivrihisar's Sefa Toygar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Balaman in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cihan Balaman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sefa Toygar was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Göktan Taştekin came out of the goal and Mehmet Osman Albay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göktan Taştekin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Sarp Polatkan sent off a good shot on target. Banaz JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Mehmet Osman Albay scored to the left of an out of position Göktan Taştekin, making the score, 2-1. Göktan Taştekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Osman Albay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
