Aykutalp Garipoğlu scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdullah Bahar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdullah Bahar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykutalp Garipoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Reşat Özgenc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdullah Bahar. Adilcevaz JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reşat Özgenc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Abdullah Bahar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beşir Akçakoca in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Adilcevaz JK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fedai Veli hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Adilcevaz JK's goal looked a bit too open when Beşir Akçakoca came free, but Abdullah Bahar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdullah Bahar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reşat Özgenc in the 36th minute of play. Melikgazi FK's Doruk Ungan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fevzi Ülger to strike the kick off in the second half. Adilcevaz JK's Abdullah Bahar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Adilcevaz JK from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Melikgazi FK's Doruk Ungan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdullah Bahar. Abdullah Bahar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 74th match minute, Adilcevaz JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Ülger to maneuver through the defense. Semih Derelioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Doruk Ungan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdullah Bahar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Adilcevaz JK's goal looked a bit too open when Doruk Ungan came free, but Abdullah Bahar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Doruk Ungan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdullah Bahar, 0-4. Doruk Ungan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Melikgazi FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over Melikgazi FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Adilcevaz JK throughout the match.
