Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mehmet Edip Karaalp started the match with the kick off. Gökalp Canfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kocaköy's Baybora Öztaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Edip Karaalp in the 6th minute of play. If Mehmet Edip Karaalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute Mehmet Edip Karaalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybora Öztaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balamir Ragıp hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Tuna Tanzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaköy's Baybora Öztaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Necip Öktemer came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Kocaköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necip Öktemer couldn't finish the play. The Kocaköy fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Kocaköy's Gökalp Canfer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Şenel Kenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Genclerbirligi SK's Alkan Nevruz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Edip Karaalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baybora Öztaş came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehmet Edip Karaalp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. If Şenel Kenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gökalp Canfer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kocaköy's zone, Alkan Nevruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baybora Öztaş came out of the goal and Alkan Nevruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Mehmet Edip Karaalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybora Öztaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şenel Kenan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Genclerbirligi SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Efe Kudret had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şenel Kenan. 66 minutes into the match, Genclerbirligi SK's Mehmet Edip Karaalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baybora Öztaş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alkan Nevruz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Genclerbirligi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkan Nevruz couldn't finish the play. Baybora Öztaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Edip Karaalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şenel Kenan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ahmet Efe Kudret made a huge save. Necip Öktemer struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ahmet Efe Kudret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocaköy. Gökalp Canfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ahmet Efe Kudret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Mehmet Edip Karaalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaköy's Baybora Öztaş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Genclerbirligi SK booed when Kocaköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kürşat Taykurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Mehmet Edip Karaalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After taking down the ball on Genclerbirligi SK's corner Kandemir Yaltıray fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baybora Öztaş quite easily take care of the ball. The Kocaköy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Genclerbirligi SK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
