Özvatan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaser Sezgi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halit Sayıl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gazanfer Urza. Çağdaş Özçınar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cevher Ceylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hacı Ali Kadim in the 15th minute of the match. Cevher Ceylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacı Ali Kadim in the 16th minute of play. When Gafur Türe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Halit Sayıl was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Gafur Türe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Kabatas JK's goal looked a bit too open when Yaman Ruhsan came free, but Halit Sayıl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kabatas JK's Halit Sayıl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yaser Sezgi in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Kabatas JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolunay Baybora to maneuver through the defense. Gafur Türe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yaser Sezgi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Sayıl having to interfere. If Tansel Talaykut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hacı Ali Kadim to strike the kick off in the second half. Tansel Talaykut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cevher Ceylan having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kabatas JK's Hacı Ali Kadim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cevher Ceylan. That made the score 2-1 after 55 minutes of play. When Kadri Yesar fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Özvatan's protests and gave Kadri Yesar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Özvatan's Kadri Yesar got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Gafur Türe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Sayıl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gafur Türe went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Özvatan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
