Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ensar Tandan got the match started through his kick off. Ensar Tandan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Artvin's goalkeeper Şimşek Mecit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Hamdi Cezri. Şimşek Mecit didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Ahmet Hamdi Cezri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Hamdi Cezri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şimşek Mecit having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Artvin's zone, Ahmet Hamdi Cezri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şimşek Mecit came out of the goal and Ahmet Hamdi Cezri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Sertel Giryar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şimşek Mecit was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Ahmet Hamdi Cezri made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 37thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Şimşek Mecit would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Germencik's goal looked a bit too open when Baycan Tuncay came free, but Hakkı Kenan Ekinoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sertel Giryar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şimşek Mecit having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sertel Giryar to strike the kick off in the second half. Yıldıray Yaşar hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Baycan Tuncay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hakkı Kenan Ekinoğlu made a huge save. Ensar Tandan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Ahmet Hamdi Cezri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şimşek Mecit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakkı Kenan Ekinoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahri Sarik in the 68th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Artvin's goal looked a bit too open when Sertel Giryar came free, but Şimşek Mecit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sertel Giryar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Şimşek Mecit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şimşek Mecit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hamdi Cezri in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hamdi Cezri in the 86th minute of play forced Artvin's goalkeeper Şimşek Mecit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabit Yöntem hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Hamdullah Çağakan, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Baycan Tuncay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Hakkı Kenan Ekinoğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Germencik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Artvin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
