Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Harbiye's Eray Secaat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eray Secaat struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Garip Akdemirci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harbiye. Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Turgay Tekindağ having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel in the 8th minute of play forced Harbiye's goalkeeper Turgay Tekindağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eray Secaat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garip Akdemirci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Turgay Tekindağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talat Okyar in the 13th minute of play. Berker Rıza Haneci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garip Akdemirci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgay Tekindağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turgay Tekindağ. Turgay Tekindağ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talat Okyar in the 30th minute of play forced Harbiye's goalkeeper Turgay Tekindağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rumelihisari booed when Harbiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Varol Piruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel in the 32nd minute of play forced Harbiye's goalkeeper Turgay Tekindağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Rumelihisari:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Harbiye:s goal. Aktuğ Deren shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Harbiye fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Kerem Çidam charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kerem Çidam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Kerem Çidam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Rumelihisari were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Harbiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhun Beyhan to maneuver through the defense. Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragıp Atasoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Harbiye's Turgay Tekindağ got control of the ball when Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Turgay Tekindağ made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumelihisari's supporters rose to their feet, but Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turgay Tekindağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Selami Tuz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Turgay Tekindağ came out and tried to block the shot, but Selami Tuz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 73rd minute. Eray Secaat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Rumelihisari's goal looked a bit too open when Berker Rıza Haneci came free, but Garip Akdemirci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgay Tekindağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel in the 85th minute. Rumelihisari's attack was well implemented in the 86th minute, but when Selami Tuz was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Turgay Tekindağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rumelihisari. 90 minutes in the game, Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Turgay Tekindağ having to interfere. Selami Tuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Turgay Tekindağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Rumelihisari left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Harbiye.
