Ahmet Refik Taluy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garip Akdemirci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Ahmet Refik Taluy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Garip Akdemirci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rumelihisari booed when Yedikule JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilla Yay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arda Ozan Zübeyr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Yedikule JK's zone, Talat Okyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Ozan Zübeyr came out of the goal and Talat Okyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Talat Okyar to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rumelihisari getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kerem Çidam hit a great ball. If Ahmet Refik Taluy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Anıl Mikail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Arda Ozan Zübeyr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rumelihisari's Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talat Okyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Ozan Zübeyr having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Ahmet Refik Taluy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 69 minutes into the match, Yedikule JK's Şakir Bilginer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garip Akdemirci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Şakir Bilginer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes of play, Rumelihisari's Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arda Ozan Zübeyr was left in no man's land by his defense there! Selami Tuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Arda Ozan Zübeyr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Tanyel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rumelihisari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Selami Tuz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumelihisari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selami Tuz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Rumelihisari were the better team. Rumelihisari's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
