Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mehmet Ali Niğdeli took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Karantina SK booed when Demirci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haldun Seyfullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferhan Halıcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kağan Batıray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Ferhan Halıcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Demirci's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferhan Halıcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kağan Batıray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karantina SK's Kağan Batıray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Karantina SK from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute of the match, Mehmet Ali Niğdeli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kağan Batıray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute, Ahmet Orhan Şahsuvaroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Abdullatif Vasfi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rahim Çakmur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kağan Batıray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferhan Halıcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rahim Çakmur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdullatif Vasfi in the 37th minute of the match. Nejat Kultigin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Demirci's Rahim Çakmur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Faruk Akkuş in the 41st minute of play. If Mehmet Ali Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdullatif Vasfi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ali Faruk Akkuş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karantina SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Faruk Akkuş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rahim Çakmur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Mehmet Ali Niğdeli notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Karantina SK's Kağan Batıray. Kağan Batıray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ferhan Halıcıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Demirci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferhan Halıcıoğlu couldn't finish the play. The Demirci fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Karantina SK's Ali Faruk Akkuş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rahim Çakmur. That made the score 3-2 after 81 minutes of play. Demirci's Mehmet Ali Niğdeli got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rahim Çakmur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Faruk Akkuş in the 93rd minute. After 95 played minutes Demirci got a freekick which was hit by Cenap Başol. Abdullatif Vasfi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rahim Çakmur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Demirci had won after a very even match.
