In the 12th minute, Markusan FC's Maximo Lluciano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Konya FK's zone, Kerimhan Zakir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktan Çelikoz came out of the goal and Kerimhan Zakir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mithat Tenzil kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kerimhan Zakir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markusan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerimhan Zakir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göktan Çelikoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berkay Secaattin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Celal Atabey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Radowit Nieruchliwy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Çelikoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Markusan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Berkay Secaattin came free, but Celal Atabey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Lluciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göktan Çelikoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Miomir Stjepanović received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Göktan Çelikoz came out and tried to block the shot, but Miomir Stjepanović slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Berkay Secaattin made the kick off in the second half. Sungurbey Soyselçuk charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sefa Güdü might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göktan Çelikoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sefa Güdü ran back to his position shaking his head. Konya FK's Göktan Çelikoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Lluciano in the 86th minute of play. Celal Atabey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkay Secaattin in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Berkay Secaattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göktan Çelikoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sefa Güdü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Markusan FC were the better team. Markusan FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
