Absoliut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Algitas Dubauskas in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Jotautas Bulzgis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Agatas Didžiulis, made in the 26th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Siricio Liotta made a precise shot to the right of Robertas Sabaitis. Absoliut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A throw-in in the 31st minute of the game was made by Jonathan Chap with Agatas Didžiulis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With an all-out effort, Italy's Robertas Sabaitis threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Robertas Sabaitis was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Absoliut through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygandas Jančiauskas in the 62nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Absoliut getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cui Qing hit a great ball. Robertas Sabaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tymoteusz Chludzinski in the 72nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robertas Sabaitis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zaccheo Andolina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 73 minute of play. Robertas Sabaitis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. In the 87th minute of the match Sostene Vitulli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robertas Sabaitis skillfully saved the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Absoliut's Tymoteusz Chludzinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Robertas Sabaitis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The attack was good, but when Sansone Vanella in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
