Uluç Ergenç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sümer Egesel in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Yeniköy got a freekick which was hit by Şimşek Canalp. Uluç Ergenç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaptan Cezar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Gürsel Rical made the kick off in the second half. If Selim Samil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Solhan JK's Ali Cengiz Torcan got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Kubat Erdemli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yeniköy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Solhan JK the free kick. Gürsel Rical scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Battal Eskici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gürsel Rical sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mansur Hünkar hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Solhan JK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
