The Kütahya fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Kütahya's Şakir Berkman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Kütahya's İsmet Yerlikaya got a free kick in the 14th minute. Baykal Erbaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mert Baysal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Şakir Berkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Damal's İhsan Bakırhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. İhsan Bakırhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykal Erbaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İhsan Bakırhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şakir Berkman in the 58th minute of play. Şakir Berkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykal Erbaş in the 67th minute of play forced Damal's goalkeeper İhsan Bakırhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Musa Sadan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A collision led to Kütahya getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kütahya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
