If Akay Dürüst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Germencik's Mehmet Bedri Turatekin got a free kick in the 10th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Merih Demiral FC's Özen Ongar tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. İbrahim Ethem Yabgu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akay Dürüst in the 12th minute of the match. When Tugay Musa fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merih Demiral FC's protests and gave Tugay Musa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germencik booed when Merih Demiral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tugay Musa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merih Demiral FC's Akay Dürüst got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gökmen Afak fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merih Demiral FC's protests and gave Gökmen Afak a yellow card for diving instead. Gökmen Afak kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cengizhan Türköne took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mustafa Hamit Sertel. Merih Demiral FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hazım Mutlu struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mustafa Hamit Sertel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germencik. The supporters of Germencik booed when Merih Demiral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ersin Çoğa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germencik's Behlül Tevfik got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Özen Ongar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Germencik's İbrahim Ethem Yabgu didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Merih Demiral FC's zone, Hazım Mutlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hamit Sertel came out of the goal and Hazım Mutlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hazım Mutlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Hamit Sertel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hazım Mutlu got free with Mustafa Hamit Sertel in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Kemalettin İşcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İbrahim Ethem Yabgu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mustafa Hamit Sertel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çelikan Tanın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Hamit Sertel made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Hazım Mutlu sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Akay Dürüst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tugay Musa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Çelikan Tanın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Merih Demiral FC's Gökmen Afak got a free kick in the 86th minute. Kemalettin İşcan might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İbrahim Ethem Yabgu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kemalettin İşcan ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Merih Demiral FC booed when Germencik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bedri Turatekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germencik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merih Demiral FC.
