Abdullah Muren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rdth minute of the game Aytek Hatırlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahceköy JK's Abdullah Muren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bahceköy JK's zone, Tan Uçarer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdullah Muren came out of the goal and Tan Uçarer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Golatan's Aytek Hatırlı in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hakkı Deniz Kabakçı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golatan's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakkı Deniz Kabakçı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdullah Muren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aytek Hatırlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakkı Deniz Kabakçı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Seyfettin Özilter made the kick off in the second half. Aytek Hatırlı ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Aytek Hatırlı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdullah Muren was relentless in the 70th minute of the game.
