After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Barbaros Paye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbaros Paye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Yılmaz Uruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanju Sezai in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göksel Uludağ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Barbaros Paye kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yılmaz Uruk. That made the score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tanju Sezai to make the kick off. Tanju Sezai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Uludağ having to interfere. When Barbaros Paye fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yesilyurt's protests and gave Barbaros Paye a yellow card for diving instead. Barbaros Paye kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Yılmaz Uruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alper Oker in the 89th minute of the match. Barbaros Paye blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yılmaz Uruk having to make a save. Alper Oker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yesilyurt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Usak had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
