Haşim Eski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fazıl Hüsnü Başbuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibet Altıncığlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Haşim Eski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mehmet Tugal fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurtköy SK's protests and gave Mehmet Tugal a yellow card for diving instead. Kurtköy SK's Haşim Eski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibet Altıncığlu in the 35th minute of play. Haşim Eski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibet Altıncığlu in the 39th minute of the match. If Fazıl Hüsnü Başbuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibet Altıncığlu in the 44th minute of play forced Kurtköy SK's goalkeeper Haşim Eski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kurtköy SK's zone, Fazıl Hüsnü Başbuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Eski came out of the goal and Fazıl Hüsnü Başbuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Tibet Altıncığlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Vectra's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibet Altıncığlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haşim Eski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tayfur Pekdemir to make the kick off. FC Vectra's Tibet Altıncığlu got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Haşim Eski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fazıl Hüsnü Başbuğ in the 55th minute. Haşim Eski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erbatur Durali in the 57th minute of play. Kurtköy SK's Haşim Eski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibet Altıncığlu in the 89th minute of play. Fazıl Hüsnü Başbuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haşim Eski having to interfere. The Kurtköy SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Vectra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
